Michael has been in the property industry since 1970. Michael commenced his real estate career working for a Government authority negotiating acquisition of property required for public purposes. He progressed to senior positions in several major real estate agencies where he widened his experience to cover commercial, industrial, residential and retail property for a variety of purposes including investment agency, property management as well as the valuation of acquisition, mortgage, Initial Public Offerings and compulsory acquisition.
Michael was transferred to South East Asia and was based in Hong Kong for several years where he undertook valuation and consultancy work in Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia and Vietnam. One major instruction was the development of a new railway line and Michael established and headed a multi disciplinary team responsible for the acquisition of all property required by the railway. Whilst in Hong Kong, Michael founded and was the chairman of the Hong Kong chapter of the Australian Property Institute.
On returning to Australia, Michael joined LandMark White where he is the Director in charge of the Parramatta Office. His specialty is commercial and industrial valuation (including automotive related property) whilst supervising a team which covers all aspects of valuation consultancy in the Western Region of the Metropolitan area.
